- The visa process is hassle-free and can be managed in a number of ways. 66 nationalities receive a free of charge visa stamp upon arrival including citizens of the EU plus Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, New Zealand, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, USA and the Vatican State. A well-planned road system and plenty of sidewalks make Abu Dhabi easy to navigate. Taxis are plentiful and good value, plus a shuttle bus can take visitors between the International Airport and Yas Island.

Abu Dhabi provides an abundance of settings and terrains for team building opportunities. For groups up to 30 persons, test desert survival skills and experience a little of Emirati life with lunch and transportation for only US$125 per head at Arabian Nights Village. In the city, visit the local fish market with talented chefs for a cook off, undertake a Wildlife Talk & Scavenger Hunt with Park Hyatt’s Saadiyat Island marine biologist, a pit stop challenge at Yas Marina Circuit or put the wind in your clients’ hair with Desert Land Sailing in the expansive Liwa Desert - the gentle Arabian winds are perfect for this adventurous activity. Guests can choose to sail as a group or race against each other across the desert for US $76++ per adult per hour. These latest desert activities include fat biking on the dunes, join Qasr al Sarab’s long-established offering of desert walks, tours to the nearby Liwa Oasis, dawn yoga amid the dunes, camel trekking, desert drives and archery. For a more relaxing team building event, hire kayaks and paddle around the Eastern Mangroves National Park. Or book paddle boarding to challenge group dynamics.
Corporate Meetings Sample Programme
Day 1: Arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport and transfer to a three, four or five-star hotel on Yas Island, which is just a 15-minute drive from the airport. Enjoy a welcome reception at W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island before heading out to sample one of Yas Marina’s licensed restaurants, like the stylish Cipriani, which offers culinary classics from Harry’s Bar in Venice as well as breathtaking views of the Yas Marina Circuit.
Day 2: After a full day of meetings, treat your delegates to a visit to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – home to the world’s fastest rollercoaster, Formula Rossa – followed by a team dinner at The EDITION Abu Dhabi's fine-dining steak restaurant, Oak Room, spearheaded by British chef Tom Aikens.
Day 3: After a morning meeting, break for lunch at Al Fanar. At the heart of Yas Island inside Yas Mall, this restaurant and cafe provides authentic Emirati food in the nostalgic ambience of an old UAE neighbourhood, complete with barasti outdoor booths and a mini souk. After lunch enjoy a tour of the city, taking in the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (third in TripAdvisor’s list of the world’s top 25 landmarks), afternoon tea at Emirates Palace, and the heart-stopping views from Observation Deck at 300, on the 74th floor of Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. Return to the hotel and transfer to Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Day 1: Arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport and transfer to your hotel by the Grand Canal; perhaps the four-star Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, which offers wonderful views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, or the five-star Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal. Enjoy a welcome reception this evening at the Andaz Capital Gate hotel, located in the iconic Capital Gate building, which inclines a record-breaking 18 degrees, earning it the nickname of the ‘Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi’. It’s also the focal point of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the largest conference and exhibition venue in the Middle East.
Day 2: After a day of meetings and workshops at ADNEC, enjoy some free time with a visit to the Corniche, an impressive eight kilometres of manicured waterfront in the west of the city, or perhaps catch the sunset at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a wonderful time of day to admire this magnificent monument.
Day 3: On the last day of the conference, enjoy a spectacular gala dinner on the elegant terraces of Abu Dhabi’s most distinguished hotel, Emirates Palace. Set between a sweeping crescent of sand and the hotel’s breathtaking kilometre-long façade, it’s the perfect setting for a memorable evening.
Day 4: Stay for one extra day and visit some of the city's top attractions, including Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Presidential Palace or Qasr Al Hosn fort - the city's oldest building. Alternatively, head to Saadiyat Beach for some rest and relaxation.
Day 5: Depart for Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Day 1: Arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport and transfer to either Saadiyat Island or the Corniche, both of which offer a wide range of hotels to choose from, like the five-star beachfront Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, or the equally luxurious St Regis Abu Dhabi on the Corniche. Come evening, enjoy a welcome drink at the five-star Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, followed by a meal in Ray's Grill, which offers fantastic city views from the 63rd floor.
Day 2: Make full use of the many leisure options available on Yas Island, including driving experiences at Yas Marina Circuit, the thrills of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, laughter at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and the spills of Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi. And that’s not to mention Yas Links, the only true links golf course in Arabia, Yas Beach and Yas Mall, the emirate’s largest shopping centre.
Day 3: Enjoy a seaplane experience in the morning, then transfer by speedboat to Zaya Nurai Island, a 32-villa private-island resort just ten minutes across the water from Saadiyat Island. Enjoy lunch at the resort’s beachfront terrace restaurant before partaking in an afternoon of water sports, with options ranging from beach snorkelling to kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Back on Saadiyat, sit down to dinner this evening at the fashionable Saadiyat Beach Club.
Day 4: Depart for Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, a five-star sanctuary two hours from the city, surrounded by the endlessly shifting dunes of the Empty Quarter. A wide variety of Arabian experiences is available during an overnight stay, from sunset camel treks and 4x4 dune bashing to fat-wheeled biking and falconry displays.
Day 5: Depart for Abu Dhabi International Airport.
