Abu Dhabi is one of the world’s safest destinations - in fact it was named by Numbeo as the 'safest city for 2019'.
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, offers non-stop flights to Abu Dhabi from London Heathrow, Manchester and Dublin. British Airways also flies daily to Abu Dhabi from London Heathrow.
Access from regional airports is available through Etihad’s 18 codeshare partners or, alternatively, with KLM via Amsterdam.
Delegates flying in from any corner of the planet can take advantage of Etihad Airways’ extensive network, which serves over 70 destinations worldwide.
Climate & Weather
This is a destination with almost year-round sunshine, little rainfall and near perfect winter temperatures.

The visa process is hassle-free and can be managed in a number of ways. 66 nationalities receive a free of charge visa stamp upon arrival including citizens of the EU plus Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, New Zealand, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, USA and the Vatican State. Or apply via the UAE Embassy.
Transfers
A well-planned road system and plenty of sidewalks make Abu Dhabi easy to navigate. Taxis are plentiful and good value, plus a shuttle bus can take visitors between the International Airport and Yas Island.
